The different jobs at Club Med
Club Med has nearly 500 different jobs to offer, in nearly 40 offices and 70 Resorts. In our Resorts in France and abroad, there are 130 different jobs, involving hospitality, restaurants and more. As the reference for luxury vacations that combine upscale and relaxation, Club Med is embodied every day by our G.Os and G.Es (Gentle Organizers and Gentle Employees), who carry our values. Whatever the job or the duration of the assignment, our teams are committed to these values.
Summer season: what summer job at Club Med?
As a responsible employer, we are looking to develop career opportunities for our G.Os and G.Es, whether they are working as seasonal employees for a summer job or in a year-round position. The summer season, associated with family vacations, is therefore the perfect time to find a summer job and work in our teams. A wide range of jobs are available: in the kitchen (Cook, Commis, Chef de partie, Pastry chef...), in the restaurant (Waiter, Chef de rang, Barman...), in the Club Med Sports team (Fitness, tennis, golf, yoga, archery instructors, etc.), in animation (BAFA) or in events (DJ, sound and light technician). The list is far from being exhaustive, so don't hesitate to consult all our summer job offers.
Your summer job in France or abroad
Once selected, you will work in France or abroad in one of our 70 resorts located in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Oceania. The G.Os and G.Es are the heart of the customer experience. The G.Es are more often native to the country in which the Resort is located, but may be required to travel, depending on their job and our needs. The G.Os are mobile and travel the world. As an ambassador of Club Med during the day's highlights, he or she sets the rhythm for exchanges with our G.Ms (Gentle Members, our customers). As a bond builder, they are an essential part of our customers' daily lives. If you are looking for a G.O or G.E position, speaking English is a must. This is also true if you are looking for a management position as our teams can be multicultural. On the other hand, if you are not working in a position that requires regular exchanges with our G.Ms, if you are not managing a team or if you are not working in another country, speaking English is not mandatory.
Expected qualities for your summer job
Recruitment at Club Med is essentially based on personality, in addition to skills acquired through specialized diplomas or proven professional, associative or sports experience (depending on the job). The involvement of our G.Os and G.Es is also crucial: a sense of service and kindness are indeed prerequisites. More than a professional experience, a summer job at Club Med is above all a human adventure where you will create bonds for life in one of our enchanting sites. You will also be able to boost your skills and acquire real expertise that will enhance your future career.
