What is onboarding?

Before entering the heart of the matter, we need to define the concept of onboarding. This process is part of Club Med's DNA. It consists of implementing various actions to simplify the welcoming of new employees into the company. This not only facilitates their arrival, but also helps to improve their integration into the team. Onboarding is a win-win situation. For the future employee, it's the guarantee of being welcomed in optimal conditions. For the company, this process helps to build loyalty by creating a bond with employees as soon as their recruitment is announced.

What are the onboarding steps for Club Med employees?

Club Med focuses on onboarding to provide a quality experience for its new talent. This takes place in various stages. After receiving confirmation that they have been recruited to the team, employees stay in touch with the company. Depending on the position concerned, you will receive a variety of information. Club Med will inform you of your place of assignment, and you can then get to know your manager.

He or she will organize your integration process according to your job. The goal will be to give you all the information you need to make your new job easier. You'll be given two digital training courses to follow at your own pace. This will help you prepare for your arrival at the Resort by familiarizing you with the language and values specific to Club Med. You'll be accompanied as soon as you arrive in the Resort, where you'll be invited to visit and meet members of the team.

Onboarding for Club Med employees who work in the offices has a few differences. In addition to e-learning training, future employees follow a multi-stage induction program:
- induction training at head office in Paris;
- half-day immersion in an agency;
- immersion in a resort for a week.

Spend some time following the digital training courses offered by the Club Med Talent University. As soon as you arrive in the Resort, get in touch with your Manager and Trainer to build your career plan. This essential step will enable you to define your long-term objectives within the company!
