Training or the pillar of our employer brand

At Club Med, we place professional development at the heart of our employer brand. We are therefore multiplying initiatives to support our G.Os and G.Es (Gentils Organisateurs and Gentils Employés) in their career development.

As a committed employer, we define ourselves as a ‘learning company’. We know that the transmission of know-how and interpersonal skills is essential to the development of our employees, first and foremost G.Os and G.Es. This approach fosters the performance and loyalty of our teams, as well as offering real opportunities for career development within our company.

Large-scale team training: focus on Academy Weeks

For example, every year Club Med marks a key milestone by bringing together all the staff working in its mountain Resorts in France, Switzerland and Italy for a series of training sessions during the Academy Weeks. These training sessions cover a wide range of professions. All of Club Med's jobs are represented at this typical event. As a general rule, these intensive sessions, which bring together several hundred employees, last five days and are run by Club Med in-house trainers and independent experts.

Skills development and career advancement: Club Med's DNA

At Club Med, skills development is part of the DNA of the Human Resources Department, which devotes specific time to each G.O and G.E to support their professional development. The Talent University was set up by Club Med many years ago. Its main role is to disseminate our corporate culture and provide training for all our teams throughout their careers. Its aim is to help our staff fulfil their potential by encouraging them to develop and progress, while remaining open to new opportunities.
The teaching methods offered, such as online or on-site training, can be adjusted according to the availability and level of each individual. These programmes support the ongoing development of the skills of our G.Os and G.Es' teams from the moment they take up their jobs.
