What commitments does Club Med make to local development?

Respecting local people, culture and traditions is one of our top priorities. That's why we encourage our guests and teams to discover local lifestyles and practices through a variety of activities. We offer excursions and visits to enable our members to immerse themselves in the culture of the host country. We also invite them to take an interest in the crafts, cuisine and customs of the host region. Our aim is to enhance the destination's economic and social vitality.

What is Club Med doing to boost local employment?

To ensure that every region where we operate benefits from our presence, we promote local employment. Every year, we recruit many professionals to strengthen our teams in the Resorts. Restaurant, hotel, maintenance, childcare, etc. We are looking for employees in a wide range of sectors. These positions are open to local workers, which contributes to the region's economic development.

To encourage local employment, we offer training courses to enhance the skills of our employees.

How does Club Med involve its employees in its social policy?

As an employer committed to local development, Club Med stimulates the economy of host regions and countries through a variety of initiatives. Contributing to local employment, encouraging consumption from local artisans and producers, and respecting traditions are just a few examples. But beyond these actions, Club Med also involves its teams in a number of ways. The Club Med Foundation, created in 1978, motivates employees to get involved by taking part in solidarity initiatives. In host countries, this takes the form of partnerships in favor of social action and education, financial or in-kind donations, volunteer work, etc.

Working for Club Med, for example, you could contribute to initiatives to protect birds, seals or turtles. You could also give sports lessons to children from the Resort's neighboring communities.

Why join Club Med, an employer committed to local development?
