PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The QA Specialist ensures the quality and reliability of software products by designing and implementing thorough testing processes. This role is crucial inidentifyingand resolving product defects to ensure software functionality meets customer and business requirements. The QA Specialist supports cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes consistently and on time.

GENERAL MISSIONS

1.Design&Executionof Tests

  • Develop test strategies and plans based on projectobjectivesand scope.

  • Create and execute detailed test cases for manual and automated testing.

  • Record defects and follow up on issue resolution with the development team.

2.Collaboration & StakeholderReporting

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure product functionality and reliability.

  • Conduct reviews and provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress and results of testing processes.

  • Suggest process improvements for better testing efficiency and accuracy.

3.DefectAnalysis& Prevention

  • Perform root cause analysis for defects and propose measures to prevent their recurrence.

  • Identifyopportunities for automation and contribute to the implementation of automated testing solutions.

  • Maintain compliance withindustrybest practices and stay current with testing trends and tools.

4.Documentation &QualityMonitoring

  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of test cases, results, and defect tracking.

  • Monitor product quality metrics and analyze trends to implement necessary improvements.

  • Review software deliverables to ensure they meet specified quality standards.

5.Support forContinuousIntegration/Delivery

  • Assistin the setup and execution of automated test suites in continuous integration pipelines.

  • Verify product readiness during key software releases and deployments.

6. Management & Leadership

  • Create a structuring and inspiring framework: Provide a clear and engaging environment, give meaning to actions and embody the Club Med Spirit. 

  • Develop and empower teams: Help them develop their skills, encourage autonomy and initiative. 

  • Ensure operational excellence: Manage performance with rigor and benevolence, optimizing time and resources.

  • Defect Detection Rate: Percentage of defectsidentifiedand resolved during testing phases.

  • Testing Coverage: Percentage of requirements and scenarios covered by executed test cases.

  • On-Time Delivery: Adherence to project deadlines while ensuring quality outcomes.

  • Automation Adoption: Percentage of automated test cases implemented and executed.

  • Stakeholder Feedback: Positive feedback regarding communication and test process transparency.
