PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are looking for a 12 months Fixed-term role to strengthen global Materials category procurement, to accelerate Asia sourcing of manufactured goods.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end low cost country sourcing for manufactured Materials across all regions, integrating FTA rules to optimize import duties and landed costs
  • Create unified sourcing strategies and align priorities across all BUs, incorporating regional FTA eligibility assessment
  • Consolidate global suppliers and expand low-cost country sourcing coverage while leveraging applicable free trade agreements
  • Conduct supplier benchmarking, cost analysis, FTA tariff evaluation and negotiation to hit saving KPIs
  • Develop standardized sourcing processes, supplier rules and FTA documentation workflows for smooth post-contract handover
  • Track global project progress, consolidate savings data including FTA duty savings, and submit regular leadership reports
  • Resolve cross-regional collaboration barriers and optimize global procurement workflows with consistent FTA compliance standards

Mission:

  • Support Key Battles strategic roadmap by establishing robust, repeatable low-cost country sourcing processes for the global Materials category with standardized FTA compliance embedded across all regions.
  • Build a complete set of supplier governance, cost benchmarking and FTA tariff optimization toolkits to unlock sustainable duty and product cost savings.
  • Align sourcing approaches across all Business Units to eliminate fragmented regional practices, streamline cross-border supply chains and mitigate cross-regional procurement risks.
  • Transfer fully operational, documented sourcing and FTA workflows to respective BU Buyers upon completion of the 12-month fixed term, ensuring long-term category self-sufficiency and continuous value delivery after handover.
  • Drive capability uplift across regional procurement teams by embedding FTA knowledge and structured low-cost country sourcing methodologies into daily operations.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Procurement, International Trading or related fields
  • 2–5 years procurement experience with cross-border low-cost country sourcing for global categories, practical exposure to FTA implementation preferred

Professional Competencies

  • Knowledge of hotel/resort product specs and global category spend procurement models; solid understanding of cross-border Free Trade Agreement rules, Supply Chain issues, origin criteria and tariff optimization
  • Expertise in supplier development, negotiation, cost analysis and supply chain risk control; able to deliver full-cycle sourcing independently with FTA cost optimization embedded
  • Skilled at coordinating cross-regional teams across NAM, SAM, EMEA and APAC for parallel multi-market projects, aligning regional FTA requirements across all markets

Language & Soft Skills

  • Fluent written & spoken English & Chinese for global cross-border team communication
  • Strong cross-functional & cross-region coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Responsible, execution-focused, data-driven and process optimization minded
  • Able to handle multiple parallel global projects under tight deadlines

Work Location

  • Full-time based in Singapore; frequent business travel for supplier (factories)visits in Southeast Asia region.
