As a sports educator in aquatic activities and swimming, you ensure the safety of Club Med vacationers under your responsibility. You are a coach, capable of leading swimming and aquafitness classes. You also oversee equipment, and ensure the application and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

What diploma?

Become a Lifeguard Swimming Supervisor (M/F) on an apprenticeship contract - Fixed-term contract for 13 months and obtain the B.P.J.E.P.S A.A.N. (Aquatic Activities and Swimming). 8 to 10 positions available.

As a recognized player in training, CREPS Montpellier is at the heart of the city of sporting and cultural excellence, on a space of nearly 3 hectares.

Equipped with sports facilities, specialized rooms, and a catering offer, it offers a serene space near an international standard athletics stadium, the Philippidès stadium.

In summary, you can apply for this alternating offer if you meet the prerequisites required for the training:

• Be over 18 and under 30 years old (29 years old) at the date of signing the contract (if over 30, see if derogation is possible).
• Be a national of the European Union or have a residence permit allowing you to work in France and covering the entire contract - ‘Study and Work’ or ‘Vacation and Work’ residence permit not accepted.
• Hold one of the following first aid training certificates: PSE1 or PSE2 valid (or equivalent).
• Hold the National Certificate of Water Safety and Rescue (BNSSA).
• Have a medical certificate stating no contraindication to the practice and teaching of this sport dated less than one year from the start of the training.
• Provide the certificate of the following technical test: the Sports Performance Test, which consists of swimming a distance of 400 meters freestyle in a maximum of 7 minutes and 40 seconds.
• Pass the various selection tests.

Conditions:

• Apprenticeship contract (French fixed-term contract) from 11/04/2024 to 12/05/2025 (13 months) alternating between diploma training at CREPS Montpellier and work at Club Med resort (accommodated and fed in the village according to conditions).
• The training costs are covered by Club Med and you are remunerated throughout the contract, according to the legal standards in force.
