Club Med, a company with a strong sense of social responsibility, named best employer by recent surveys

As a leading employer in the tourism and hospitality industry, Club Med is regularly quoted as a good place to work. The values and culture embodied by its CSR commitment, its multicultural scope, its involvement in integration and training as well as the working environment, attract candidates and retain employees. This is what emerges from the results of the latest Club Med “G.O & G.E Voice Resort” survey unveiled in June 2022. Its ranking at the top of the Statista list of companies committed to diversity and that of the Pro-Conso France research institute give a voice to the Club Med employer promise, which fully meets the expectations of current employees.

 

 

Club Med, recognised among the best employers in France in the “hospitality” category

The Pro-Conso France research institute conducted a study to identify the best employers in France in 2022. More than 2,100 companies were screened. The results provide good guidance for job seekers.
For companies, the results provide a good overview of their image as an employer and allow them to position themselves in relation to the competition. Only 10% of employers evaluated received an award.

Club Med was awarded the maximum 5-star rating as Best Employer by Young People and Most Trustworthy Employer.

The company received a 4-star rating as Best Employer 2022 in all categories.

 

Club Med, also voted as the number one company committed to diversity in the “hotels, tourism, leisure” sector

The Statista1 research institute focusing on companies committed to diversity, placed Club Med in first place in the “hotels, tourism, leisure” sector. More than 25,000 employees of companies with more than 250 employees were surveyed online - between January and March 2022 - about their employer's diversity policy and that of their competitors. This recently revealed ranking once again reflects Club Med’s commitment. A forerunner in these areas, the company promotes a culture of diversity as a source of fulfilment and enrichment of working relationships.

Multiculturalism is an integral part of the company’s values - along with kindness, freedom, pioneering spirit and responsibility - and is one of the criteria for attracting employees. The teams are very cosmopolitan and are made up of 110 nationalities. 90% of the resorts have 9 or more nationalities among their employees (35% of resorts have at least 15 nationalities).

The company is also strongly committed to gender equality. Club Med received an excellent overall score of 96/100 in the 2022 edition of the Professional Equality Index with:

For Club Med, diversity is a strength. Committed to the integration of people with disabilities since 2007, the company has defined new objectives in its 5th company agreement on the employment of people with disabilities, for even greater inclusiveness. In particular, "Mission Handicap au Club Med" represents more than 450 recruitments, 50 internships and 20 work-study programmes, 130 people in position on average each year depending on the rotation, nearly 300 adaptations to workstations, more than 2,000 hours of awareness-raising on the subject of disability, etc2.

New “G.O & G.E Voice Resorts” Survey: “very proud to work at Club Med”

Committed to the well-being and fulfilment of its employees, Club Med listens to its G.O & G.E employees3. That's why, since 2014, the company has periodically organised a global internal satisfaction survey: “G.O & G.E Voice”. Conducted by Obéa, an independent firm specialising in HR and opinion surveys, the study is based on an anonymous online questionnaire, which addresses issues such as integration, pride of belonging, the work environment, management, professional development, and values and culture. It is available to all in 20 different languages and in audio version.

For this 4th internal listening campaign, more than 5,000 G.Os & G.Es responded to the survey. Beyond the satisfaction of working for a company with strong values and culture, key indicators emerged from the survey unveiled in June 2022:
