Architecture & Design Manager
Singapore Naval Base (historical)This position plays a key role in ensuring that Club Med’s design vision is consistently and accurately implemented throughout the ESAP region, enhancing guest experience, supporting premium brand positioning, and enabling smooth collaboration between owners, consultants, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative & Coordination
Identifyand prequalify new consultants (architects, interior designers, landscape planners, lighting designers, etc.) across APAC.
Maintain and update consultant lists and internal documentation (plans, trackers,followuptools).
Contribute to ESAP-specific design reference documents (design guidelines, Club Med reference books), andfollow up on Club Med global projects for design consistency.
Organize and file project documentation in a structured, accessible manner.
Conduct ongoing product and competitive benchmarking in the region.
Produce presentations, monthly reports, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
2. Creative Support & Project Follow-up
Lead the design aspect ofprojectacross all project phases: master planning, schematic design, design development, and preconstruction (TSA).
Note: Core creative designnotrequired, with occasional exceptions.
Develop assigned project scopesautonomously.
Follow up daily with consultants to ensure design accuracy,timelydelivery, and smooth coordination.
Work closely with the Construction Director on CAPEX projects.
Prepare materials for APAC Design Committee presentations (Paris) in English or French.
Produce conceptual sketches and visual materials to help stakeholders understand design intent.
Use AutoCAD to verify dimensions, layout compliance, and documentation accuracy.
Coordinate internally with Project Managers toconsolidatestandards, technical data, and product information.
Communicate with external architects and interior designers (French is an advantage).
Attend key meetings and travel punctually within the region; ability to communicate in English, French, and basic Mandarin is a plus.
Conduct material research and contribute ideas related to hospitality and design innovation.
Profile & Qualifications
Education & Experience
Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in largescale interior design projects.
Experience in hospitality design.
Strong skills in spatial planning, interior detailing, and FF&Especification.
Solid understanding of architectural and interior design project phasesthrough toconstruction.
