PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The role is established to strengthen the SEA procurement team capabilities specifically for the Indirect Procurement and Air Transportation categories. This resource will serve as a dedicated core to fill the capability gap, drive category development and boost the overall maturity of the SEA purchasing team.

The role focuses on end-to-end purchasing operations, category optimization and cost efficiency improvement for indirect spend and air transportation services across the SEA region, with clear phased financial saving targets to support the company’s procurement strategic goals.

MISSION

This position is tasked with building standardized procurement management capabilities for the previously unmanaged Indirect and Air Transportation categories in SEA. Beyond delivering quantitative cost savings, the incumbent will focus on team upskilling, category process establishment, supplier resource accumulation and procurement system optimization, laying a solid foundation for long-term, sustainable and professional management of the two core categories.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Own full-cycle procurement activities for Indirect services (corporate services, including Marketing, IT, Intellectual services, etc.)  and Air Transportation categories across the SEA region, including supplier sourcing & evaluation, quotation benchmarking, commercial negotiation, contract execution, and supplier performance management.

2. Build and optimize category-specific procurement processes, sort out industry procurement standards and supplier management mechanisms, and fill the management blank of the two underdeveloped categories.

3. Drive continuous cost optimization and efficiency improvement, track category spend data, identify saving opportunities, and steadily deliver annual procurement efficiency targets.

4. Support internal business stakeholders to match reasonable indirect procurement and air transportation service solutions, ensure compliant, cost-effective and high-quality procurement delivery.

5. Maintain stable supplier relationships, develop high-quality supplier resources, optimize the regional supply chain structure, and mitigate procurement risks for indirect and air transport spends.

6. Regularly consolidate procurement progress, cost saving performance and category development status, and submit periodic reports to the leadership team.
