PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Payroll Expert is responsible for ensuring a flawlessly managed payroll process that fully complies with social and legal standards, while incorporating the specificities of French employment contracts at Club Med. This role not only aims to deliver impeccable quality of payslips and declarations but also contributes to continuous process improvement, strengthens the payroll team, and enhances interactions with both internal and external stakeholders. The ultimate goal is to sustainably support HR strategies and reinforce Club Med's reputation as a responsible and innovative employer.

GENERAL MISSIONS

1. Payroll supervision and management

  • Manage and secure the entire payroll cycle (inputs, variable elements, checks, closings).
  • Ensure overall compliance and timely production of payroll.
  • Guarantee legal and regulatory compliance (DSN, taxes, contributions).
  • Establish and control monthly, quarterly, and annual social declarations.
  • Ensure timely payment of various social charges.

2. Team management

  • Ensure task allocation, performance monitoring, and priority management.
  • Support the team in managing their workload, problem-solving, and skill development.
  • Manage the team responsible for illness and accident management.

3. Continuous improvement and process optimization

  • Identify and implement improvement actions (digitalization, automation, simplification).
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure process fluidity.
  • Set up and monitor control processes with appropriate tools and clear explanations.

4. Technical and regulatory monitoring

  • Conduct social monitoring and ensure compliance of tools in conjunction with the Payroll Manager.
  • Advise the team and internal stakeholders on payroll rules and associated procedures.

5. Relations with internal and external stakeholders

  • Serve as the internal technical reference for payroll, social charge, and tool questions for various departments (HR, Finance, Subsidiaries).
  • Manage the relationship with the payroll provider, oversee tool and parameter changes, and represent the payroll function in steering committees.
  • Act as the reference with social organizations and control institutions.

6. Management & Leadership

  • Create a structuring and inspiring framework: Provide a clear and engaging environment, give meaning to actions and embody the Club Med Spirit.
  • Develop and empower teams: Help them develop their skills, encourage autonomy and initiative.
  • Ensure operational excellence: Manage performance with rigor and benevolence, optimizing time and resources.

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Payroll compliance rate (0% major errors in payslips).
  • Timely payroll completion (100% of payrolls finalized at J+X).
  • Quality of social declarations (Zero delay and minimal anomaly rate).
  • Team productivity (Reduced processing time per file through automation).
  • Internal satisfaction (Employee satisfaction rate on the availability and clarity of payroll information).
