VIE Shanghai - APAC Business Controller (H/F)

Context

The role is to assist the management control team to monitor and control performance of commercial entities and ensure correct application of Group procedures.

Missions

• Preparation of commercial weekly performance reports; analysis and qualification of current situation vs targets,

• Participate in monthly closings: analysis of monthly reporting, monitoring of KPIs, explanation of differences with previous years and budget, building monthly Executive Summary,

• Participate in monthly forecasts and R&Os: update of support costs forecast (offices costs) including HR reports, consolidation of sales forecast submitted by commercial countries, support and challenge the different markets forecasts,

• Assist in Budget rounds and strategic plan process - consolidation & verification of data submitted by the different entities, preparation of reports) within set deadlines,

• Design/develop reports & dashboards using financial tools: Hyperion Planning, ISIS, Power BI,

• Support other departments with their reporting requests, assist in data gathering and compilations,

• Assist the team with preparation of result presentations for Top Management,

• Propose and provide ideas to optimize reports, ensure standardization and continuity,

• Ensure the application & evolution of the procedures on all commercial activities to maintain a high level of consistency in all activities in the BU,

• Ad-hoc assignments, if required (e.g. assist in review of internal control of operation entities, build business cases for company projects)

Profile

• Business school or a master's degree with a specialization in Finance / Management Control / Audit

• A first 2-3 years-experience in a similar role with an international dimension (excluding interships & apprenticeships) is mandatory to apply for Chinese Visa,

• Qualities required: rigorous and conscientious, efficient, organized & mindful of deadlines, fast-learner, reliable, involved, proactive, team spirit,

• Technical skills: database managements skills, proficiency in Excel (incl. VBA), PowerPoint.

• Knowledge Oracle Hyperion Financial Management would be a plus

• Languages: Fluent in English. Other language is a plus
