PURPOSE OF THE JOB

TheAccountantis responsible formaintainingaccuratefinancial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting thefinancial managementteam at Club Med. This role involves executing daily accounting operations, preparing reports, and contributing to effective financial decision-making processes. TheAccountanthelps ensure the company's financial stability by managing transactions efficiently.

GENERAL MISSIONS

1.Management of Financial Records

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts accurately.

• Record all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.

• Conduct regular reconciliations to ensureaccurateaccount balances.

2.FinancialReportingand Compliance

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsin accordance withlocal and international standards.

• Assistin compiling detailed reports for audits and management review.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.

3.Accounts Payable and Receivable Management

• Monitor and process incoming invoices and outgoing payments.

• Handle billing procedures and follow up with clients on outstanding receivables.

• Manage and resolve any discrepancies with vendors and clients.

4.BudgetingSupport

• Assistin preparing budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the finance team.

• Track budget performance and report variances to management.

• Provide insights into financial data trends to support strategic planning.

5.ProcessImprovementandEfficiency

• Identifyareas for improvement within accounting processes and propose solutions.

• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

• Collaborate with IT for systems integration to streamline workflows.

6. Management & Leadership 

• Create a structuring and inspiring framework: Provide a clear and engaging environment, give meaning to actions and embody the Club Med Spirit. 

• Develop and empower teams: Help them develop their skills, encourage autonomy and initiative. 

• Ensure operational excellence: Manage performance with rigor and benevolence, optimizing time and resources.
