We have an exciting opportunity for aFinance Assistantto join our dynamicClub Med Pacific Finance team! Based in our Sydney CBD office with flexible working arrangements, this role is ideal for a motivated Business or Accounting student or recent graduate looking to build a strong foundation in finance within a global hospitality brand.
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Working closely with the Senior Accountant and Assistant Accountant, you’ll gain hands-on exposure across accounts payable and receivable, treasury, reporting, audits, and month-end processes.

Operational Responsibilities
Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, vendor management, and reporting
Maintain accurate financial records through daily sales system updates and sales report reviews
Assist with treasury activities, including monitoring daily bank balances and transactions
Support transportation and expense reporting, including flight ticket reports and employee expense claims
Contribute to month-end close activities such as journals, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting
Assist with internal and external audit preparation
Support the Senior Accountant with ad-hoc finance and accounting projects as required
About You
Currently studying or recently graduated inAccounting, Business, or Commerce
Previous accounting or finance experience is advantageous but not essential
Strong attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach
Highly organised with excellent time management skills
Strong analytical ability with confidence working with data
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
Technical Skills
Proficient inMicrosoft Exceland the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms is an advantage
