PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Payroll Manager is responsible for preparing, processing, and verifying payroll to ensure data accuracy, compliance with legislation and internal procedures, and overall employee satisfaction. This position covers a wide scope, including employees under contract with Club Med SAS assigned worldwide (offices, resorts, and agencies).
GENERAL MISSIONS
1. Operational Payroll Processing
Manage a mixed payroll portfolio composed of various employee types (seasonal workers, expatriates, GUSO, interns, etc.).
Input and validate payroll variable elements (advances, garnishments, overtime, bonuses, benefits in kind, etc.).
Issue payslips within the set deadlines.
Process final account settlements in case of departure (resignation, dismissal, mutual agreement termination, etc.).
Participate in recurring monthly tasks: ordering meal vouchers, controlling salary transfers and advances, and managing wage garnishments (ATD).
2. Control & Compliance
Review employee files for hires and rehires in the payroll system (GXP) to ensure payroll accuracy.
Verify data consistency and correct any errors.
Ensure compliance with legal obligations, collective agreements, and internal procedures.
Participate in collective audits for all payroll areas
3. Administrative Management
Submit end-of-contract notifications.
Prepare, package, and distribute payslips, as well as final settlements (STC).
Handle GUSO declarations.
4. Employee & Internal Stakeholder Support
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, their rights, and benefits.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll concerns
5. Continuous Improvement & Regulatory Monitoring
Contribute to the optimization of tools, processes, and workflows.
Stay informed about changes in labor laws, taxes, and compensation regulations, and adjust practices accordingly.
6. Management & Leadership:
Create a structuring and inspiring framework: Provide a clear and engaging environment, give meaning to actions and embody the Club Med Spirit.
Develop and empower teams: Help them develop their skills, encourage autonomy and initiative.
Ensure operational excellence: Manage performance with rigor and benevolence, optimizing time and resources.
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Payroll Error Rate: Percentage of payslips requiring correction.
Compliance with Deadlines: Percentage of payroll processing and declarations completed on time.
Employee Satisfaction: Indicators such as internal surveys and feedback.
Implemented Improvements: Number and impact of optimization actions carried out.
