Meetings & Events Business Development & Accounts Manager – PACIFIC

WE’RE HIRING

We have an exciting opportunity for a Meetings & Events Business Development & Accounts Manager to join our dynamic Club Med Pacific Meetings & Events team! Based in our Sydney CBD office with flexible working arrangements, this role is perfect for someone who loves building strong relationships and driving business growth.

You’ll split your focus across Business Development (50%) — securing new clients, partnerships, and opportunities to expand market share — and Account Management (50%) — nurturing and growing existing client relationships while ensuring seamless event delivery from planning to post-stay.

As part of our MICE team, you’ll play a key role in achieving sales targets, building strategic partnerships, and representing Club Med’s premium brand across the Pacific region.

ABOUT YOU

Education :  Bachelors degree preferred

Job experience : Proven background in both business development and account management within hospitality, travel, or MICE industries. Strong knowledge of meetings & events, travel, and tourism markets (networks, industry specificities). Familiarity with Club Med products and services is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication & relationship building skills
  • Planning ability, project management and time management
  • Enthusiastic, diligent and professional all-rounder
  • Polite, friendly and pro active thinker, able to deal with difficult situations
  • Great negotiation & analytical skills
  • Ability to take decisions effectively and provide commercial direction
  • Ability to generate ideas, prioritize and manage several different tasks at once.
  • Confident presenting to clients, partners and at industry events

Technical Skills:

  • Good level in: Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel, Salesforce
