The Golf Instructor at Club Med animates, initiates, improves, and can prepare for the first level of competition, in group lessons or individual sessions. It is aimed at all types of athletes practicing Golf, or wishing to discover it during their holidays at Club Med. This diversified relationship involves an ability to communicate, knowledge of different audiences, their expectations, and motivations. They also oversee equipment, the application, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards for golf activities.

What degree?

Become a Golf Instructor (M/F) under an apprenticeship contract – Fixed-term contract for 13 months and obtain the B.P.J.E.P.S. Golf Mention. 4 positions available.

In partnership with the CREPS of Montpellier, join our resort teams and experience the joy of self-discovery. Through a unique professional and personal experience, develop your skills and become a certified B.P.J.E.P.S. Golf Instructor.

As a recognized actor in training, the CREPS of Montpellier organizes this training on-site and at the Massane Golf Course. Equipped with an 18-hole course, a compact 9-hole course, a training center, classrooms, catering, and accommodations, it offers a serene space in the town of Baillargues (800 m from the train station).

In summary

You can apply for this alternance offer if you meet the prerequisites for the training:

• Be over 18 and under 30 years old (29 years old) at the date of contract signing (if over 30, see if a derogation is possible).
• Be a citizen of the European Union or have a residence permit allowing you to work in France and covering the entire contract – ‘Study and Work’ or ‘Working Holiday’ residence permits not accepted.
• Hold the P.S.C. 1 (or equivalent diploma) valid and have a medical certificate of no contraindication for the practice and teaching of golf.
• Meet the Prerequisite Requirements issued by the D.T.N. Golf:
  • Have an index ≤ 7.4 for men and 9.4 for women
  • Have achieved, in 2 different competitions in Grand Prix, F.F.G. or P.G.A., 2 scorecards with a score ≤ 7 compared to the S.S.S. (Standard Scratch Score) for men and 9 for women.
• Pass the selection tests.

Conditions:

• Apprenticeship contract (Fixed-term) from 18/11/2024 to 05/12/2025 (13 months, training at the CREPS of Montpellier and at the Massane Golf Course) alternating between diploma training with the CREPS of Montpellier and work at Club Med resort (provided with food and accommodation in the village according to conditions).
• The educational cost of the training is covered by Club Med and you are paid throughout the contract period, according to legal standards.
