What are the tasks of a Housekeeper?
At Club Med, the Floor Manager's role is to supervise a maintenance team composed of several employees. Your role is to ensure the cleanliness of the hotel so that our guests have an excellent stay. A typical day for a Housekeeper starts with a morning briefing with the Housekeepers in charge of the common and private areas (rooms) to establish their work schedule. The Floor Manager must then control the maintenance of the rooms and common areas after they have been cleaned, in accordance with Club Med's high standards. He/she must ensure that the sanitary and electrical installations are in good working order, or report any anomalies to the maintenance department.
What training do I need to become an Assistant General Manager at Club Med?
You can access the position of Assistant General Manager at Club Med with different diplomas. We are primarily looking for holders of a BTS in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a BTS in Hotel Management. You are also eligible to apply with a Bac Technologique Hôtellerie, Bac Professionnel Gouvernance, BP Gouvernante and CAP Services Hôteliers. To apply for the position of Floor Manager at Club Med, you must have experience in a hotel structure and in team management. It is also possible, without a diploma and thanks to your motivation, to access this position after a few seasons as a Room Attendant and training at Club Med. By building up your experience at Club Med as a Floor Manager, you will be able to pursue several career paths and take on managerial and responsible positions such as General Manager or Room Division Manager.
