    Club Med is a tour operator selling holidays with about 70 resorts around the world. In the market since 1950, Club Med is leader in premium all inclusive holidays with winter mountain, summer mountain and sun destinations. Iberics region with Portugal and Spain is key for Club Med’s development in Europe and is currently looking for a Travel Experience Designer for Spain based in Madrid.

    Reporting to the Direct channels manager for Iberics, you will recruit new direct customers and act as a genuine brand ambassador for them, you will be in charge of designing travel experiences and using your expertise to help achieve our sales and customer satisfaction targets. In this context, your main missions will be to:

    1) Develop your sales activity:

    • Develop sales by recruiting, building loyalty and selling complementary services.
    • Identify your customer's business opportunities (partnership, sponsorship, influencer, recommendation)
    • Analysis of the sales trends, the performance evolutions (customer file, data catching, complaint tracking). Propose new solutions and correct what is not working properly in qualitative and quantitative part.
    • Guarantee the evolution and adaptation of processes, operating rules to be always even more efficient and fluid.
    • Be part of the development plan of your market
    • Ensuring compliance with operational standards and ensure opt-in data from customers

    2) Be a key player in customer consideration:

    • Greet customers face-to-face and/or over the phone, adopting a premium posture.
    • Create a personalized and lasting relationship with customers, proactively accompanying them throughout the sale.
    • Ensure customer follow-up and satisfaction

    3) Create a customized travel experience:

    • Gather/understand your customer's expectations and motivations
    • Advise them to create a tailor-made trip
    • Promote Club Med destinations, products and experience

    Profile required:

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in travel agency industry.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong networking/communication skills
    • You have a very good knowledge of travel and the tourism industry.
    • You're passionate about travel and have a real flair for sales
    • You are skilled in sales techniques and negotiation.
    • You're persistent, proactive, curious and enthusiastic.
    • You enjoy working as part of a team.
    • You are bilingual in Spanish. Knowledge of Portuguese would be ideal. Have a good knowledge of English and French is a plus
    • You are digitally literate (pack office and sales tools).
