In 2015, Club Med opened its first Boutique-Apartement on the legendary Champs-Élysées avenue. Since then, Passy (in 2018), Nice (in 2019) and Montpellier (in 2020) have been added to this innovative concept, which rethinks customer relations through the prism of consideration.
To welcome future travellers, individuals or companies, as well as its partners, the group has taken over a flat on rue Emile Zola, which is particularly popular with high-end clients. This place is above all upmarket, experiential and friendly: a real taste of the free Club Med spirit!
With its Boutique-Apartments, Club Med once again illustrates its promise of "free-spirited" holidays, offering great flexibility and customisation from the moment the trip is booked, before fully enjoying an upscale and experiential all-inclusive holiday. On the occasion of the inauguration of the Lyon Apartment-Boutique, Henri Giscard d'Estaing, President of Club Med, said:
In this new place of conviviality and sharing, we will bring the free Club Med spirit to life. We have designed this space to offer the best possible welcome and experience, allowing all those looking for premium stays to travel before booking their trip.
360 sqm to start travelling
To reach the new Club Med address in Lyon, travellers go to 15 Rue Emile Zola, in the heart of the city's second arrondissement, between Place Bellecour and Place des Jacobins. He then heads for the second floor, which has recently become home to the new Club Med concept. Once inside, the visitor is immersed in the chic and refined decoration of a former 19th century bourgeois flat.
In this 360m2 Boutique-Apartment, which is more than 5 times the surface of a traditional travel agency, the rooms are designed in contemporary, soft and harmonious tones. The visitor, as our staff, feel instantly "at home". Throughout the rooms, the beautiful interior volumes, the bourgeois charm, and the nobility of the materials recall the wealth of this place, further enhancing the premium dimension of the visit. A bar, a lounge with comfortable sofas and a decoration found on the 5 continents invite the customers to project themselves in their travel project.
A space to live the Club Med experience
Audrey Helary, Manager of the Club Med Lyon Apartment-Boutique, and her team are the first ambassadors of the free Club Med spirit. In a relaxed and warm setting, they place future travellers at the centre of their concerns, taking the time to listen to them in order to precisely identify their expectations and thus build the holiday of their dreams with them. The latter can then settle into one of the different areas dedicated to the preparation of their next stay.
Club Med is about peace of mind as a destination. That's the role of our Boutique-Apartment: to create an atmosphere conducive to making you feel the premium dimension of Club Med. Beyond selling a holiday, we offer our visitors a tailor-made, seamless experience.
A place of life, desires and solidarity
The surface area and prestige of the flat make it an exceptional venue for receptions. Occasionally, the Appartement-Boutique team will organise themed days or evenings, such as conferences on different destinations, or wellness sessions like those offered in the Resorts, around yoga and mediation for example. The Appartement-Boutique and the multimedia meeting room, designed to echo the "Meeting & Events by Club Med" offer to professionals, are available free of charge to associations, entrepreneurs and companies in Lyon for their own meetings and events.
