The Role & Missions:
Club Med’s Wimbledon office is looking for its future PR and Content Manager. You will be directly reporting to the Marketing Director UK, Ireland & Nordics and will be working with a marketing team of 8 talents.
Your main responsibilities will be to grow brand awareness, desirability and consideration for Club Med across the markets of jurisdiction through PR, social media, influencer, community and content management and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills on other marketing levers.
- Lead the PR, Social Media and Influencer strategy and implementation:
- Define and execute the PR strategy to support the positive brand awareness and perception
- Effective management of the PR budgets to optimise campaign and activity spend to maximise results according to the key priorities throughout the year across all markets
- Creation of events, coordination, and management (media events, resort openings, group press trips)
- Management of press office alongside PR agencies addressing media enquiries and producing press releases and alerts, as well as translation of global press kits.
- Nurture existing partnerships and relationships with leading media publications, talents and influencers to secure relevant PR opportunities, influencer’s Media Value and coverage in B2C and B2B media.
- Monitor PR efficiency through regular reporting and analysis, recommend optimisations and benchmark competitor activity.
- Grow desirability though gaining and leveraging awards and recognition for the brand
- Lead and execute social, community management and advocacy
- Create a content calendar with engaging content to drive awareness, conversion and advocacy across owned social media platforms
- Effective utilisation of social following to drive commercial traffic for key campaigns and promotions
- Foster advocacy throughout the community by growing desirability and turning customers into enthusiastic promoters
- Content Management and Product Expertise
- Be responsible for curating and keeping content up-to-date across product presentations, fact-sheets, comparators, imagery, etc for use by internal and external stakeholders (b2b partners)
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and services, providing accurate and compelling information to customers and stakeholders
- Coordinate and plan a training calendar throughout the year according to key promotional windows and facilitate internal training sessions to educate internal teams on our products knowledge to effectively sell the product
- Meticulously check copy across all brand activities to maintain consistency and uphold brand standards according to key objectives
- Coordinate our main sales & marketing events (promotional & branding campaign) between headquarters and local activation levers across the commercial teams
Management: One full time intern
Your profile:
- At least 4 years of experience in PR and communications in the UK
- Experience within the travel or luxury industry. Knowledge of the travel industry, market trends, and consumer behaviour is advantageous. Demonstrated relationships within the travel industry on both consumer and trade publications would be a plus
- Strong project and budget management skills with proven ability to manage multiple campaigns, simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to manage social media platforms and scheduling tools effectively
- Proficient in utilising marketing and analytics tools and ability to learn new platforms quickly
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on campaign management and performance
- Excellent understanding of product and brand communication requirements
- Strong knowledge of targeted audiences, media categories and social media platforms
- Superb presentation and public speaking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing strategies
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style in English. French would be a plus
Compensation package:
- 25 days annual leave plus (increases by 1 day after each year of service up to a maximum of 5 days) plus all UK bank holidays.
- Birthday day off
- 3 weeks of Club Med holidays per year under Club Med policy (for GO plus one free staying guest with estimated yearly value of up to £20k) after 1 year of contract
