Alice & Morgane's experience in the wellness and spa area of Cefalù

Alice

"As a Manager, I really take care of the training and development of my team. And that's the part I love the most. I take care of the assistants, the customers, I welcome them, I'm involved in all the reception process."

Morgane

" Working as Alice Assistant, I am her right hand Whenever she needs help, I'm there. I also support the Spa Practitioners on their daily work at the spa, greeting clients, setting up appointments for their spa treatments when they have their care."

Alice

" I started out as an intern, I did not speak French at all I had a great team, and it was really an incredible experience full of emotions on a human level but especially as a professional because you learn a lot of things. I worked with Payot it was a product range that I didn't know. And then I continued my journey in Kamarina which was my first season. Then I went to to Peisey-Vallandry I wanted to come here specially to learn French because I couldn't speak French very well. And that's where I started my career. So I went afterwards to Cefalù."

Morgane

" I started before Club Med I did a CAP, a BP and a BTS in Beauty Care. I did all that under a work-study program I worked in a hammam, all this in the Paris area. And I was a G.M. before I came to the Club, so I wanted to go to the other side, because I had a great vacation at Club Med so I wanted the clients to also experience this kind of vacation. and so here I am, I became G.O., I worked 2 seasons before being here. I worked 2 seasons in La Rosière where I participate in the opening of the Club. I did the summer season then the winter season, and I had the chance to quickly evolve and to become Assistant Spa Manager for the first time in the Resort of Cefalù. So this is a huge opportunity and I am very happy to be here."

Alice

" I believe that a good Spa Therapist should really want to share its emotions because it is a technical job but also very human, because we give a lot of good energy. And above all, to listen and really want to give pleasure and to pamper. "

Morgane

"As an Assistant, I also listen the Spa Therapists, we are a little bit in the middle between the Spa Therapists, the Manager, so it's really being in the middle, to listen to everyone."                  

Alice

"A lot of things. First f all it was the first time I had the opportunity to speak French, be more confident, because at the beginning you come, we have the impression to be in a parallel world, which brings only happiness. So once you've done Club Med you can do anything. That's for sure! And also to share, to have the capacity to meet and appreciate all the things that others can give us."

Morgane

"Incredible meetings whether with clients or colleagues. We meet a lot of people and that's really magical. And also, there are the languages I already spoke french, but I was able to improve in English, I am currently learning Italian, and then all the trainings you can do. I learned with Cinq Mondes during my two previous seasons. Here we work with Sothys, so we acquire a lot of knowledge from our work here, lots of trainings and lots of extra skills."

Alice

"Let's say it's a journey, personal and professional."

Morgane

"Every time we finish a season, we cry. Because we are sad to leave everyone, because we make a lot of beautiful encounters, and I think it's awesome to create a new family like that with the whole team."

Alice

"It's true that we share so much, 24 hours a day. That afterwards we live something unique. Especially with the team,

we are one team! It's really the human side."

Alice

"If someone wants to live a unique experience and wants to get out of their comfort zone, travel, learn languages and really meet all nationalities, because here at Club Med we are multicultural, just go for it because it is really an incredible experience."

Morgane

"To open up, to open up to everyone. To receive everything: all the good vibes, and all the good things we can learn in life."

Alice

"I would say it's the word "Hello", with a big smile. We say that all the time."

Morgane

"Yes, that's right, "Buongiorno" here !"
