Your role
 |
 |
 • Set lighting for theatre shows according the show’s lighting plot and deliver the lighting and cues for all performances • Set up and tear down lighting for all remote (non-theatre) events • Maintain an active written inventory of all lighting equipment and consumables (gel, gobos, bulbs, etc.) • Follow Club Med’s standard operating procedures for maintenance of all equipment; partner with Club Med’s maintenance team for upkeep of house electrical systems • In conjunction with other team members, assist in the set-up and tear down of props for all performances • Maintain a written inventory of all props and sets • Cover sound technician responsibilities in their absence (days off) • May be asked to deejay for certain events

Your profile
 |
 |
 • Thorough understanding of lighting design and wiring techniques used in a live theatre environment • Ability to design complex lighting schemes for theatre performances, including color and timing • Ability to configure, set-up, and maintain lighting designs in accordance with all safety guidelines • Ability to work as a part of a team with other technicians such as sound, set design, and choreography and meet deadlines • Able to climb 50 foot ladder to change light placements
