The telephone interview is a pre-selection and the first few seconds are the determining factor : I would therefore advice candidates to take care with their presentation above all and prepare their interview well :
Know what position he or she is calling about
Be clear in one’s intentions
Have a CV to hand ; be equipped with a pen and a piece of paper to note down any possible information.
Listen, ask questions
Avoid calling from the street, from a car
Prepare oneself for language tests and technical questions linked to the profession
"What I expect from a candidate is above all enthusiasm ! Furthermore, before arriving at a recruitment session, it is essential to collect a maximum amount of information about the company and the position you are applying for. It’s the best way to prove your motivation and to show recruiting consultants that you’re a potential G.O. Candidates must also try and win us over by proving that they’re really going to bring something to Club Med. We want them to be proactive !"
